COMPARISONS

Two options, side by side.

Plugins, analytics tools, platforms and a few concepts that get mixed up. What each one gives you, who it suits, and what matters more than the choice.

How the comparisons are written

Every comparison follows the same order, so you can read one and know where to look in the next. First the two options in a sentence each. Then a table of what each one gives you. Then a short list of when to choose one and when to choose the other, and a plain answer at the end.

They stick to differences that are stable and well known. Where a detail depends on the plan you buy or the version you install, the page says so instead of guessing, and it never quotes a price.

A tool does not rank a site. What you put into it does. That is why each comparison ends by pointing at the thing to check on your own page, with the free audit, and at the lessons that explain what to write.

Questions

How do you choose what to compare?

We compare the pairs people ask about most when they set up a site: two plugins that do the same job, two analytics tools, two platforms, or two terms that sound alike and are not.

Why are there no prices?

Prices and plans change often, and an old price is worse than none. Each page says which features are in a free or a paid version in general terms and points you to the product's own site for the current price.

Is there always a winner?

No. Most of the time the right choice depends on your site and who maintains it, so each page says who each option suits. A pick is named only when one option clearly does a job the other cannot.

How current are they?

Each comparison shows the date it was last updated. When a product changes in a way that affects the comparison, the page is updated and the date changes.
