The lessons, glossary, comparisons, guides and tools are provided for general information about search engine optimisation. They are not professional advice for your particular site, and following them does not guarantee a ranking, traffic or sales. Search engines change how they work, so check that a lesson still applies before you rely on it.
Our content
The text, designs, illustrations and the mascot on this site belong to us. You may read them, link to them and quote short passages with a link back to the page. Please do not copy whole lessons to another site or present them as your own.
The comparisons mention products made by other companies. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners. We describe them as fairly as we can, but features and plans change: check each product’s own site before you decide.
The tools
The audit and the other tools give recommendations, not guarantees. Results depend on what your page returns at the moment of the check, and the ranges we show, such as title length, are guidelines rather than search engine rules.
